A brief background: My wife built our country home. The project took approximately three years. A significant investment was made in time creativity and financial resources.
The home is located on top of the mountain along with a drive shed. The builder Peter Schlegel recommended that we may want to consider “lightning rods”. A meeting was set up with Ken and Scott Simpson (father/son). The features and benefits of lightning rods were discussed at length.
In order to protect our home, we agreed to go forward. A budget was established along with a start date.
Bottom line, there was no budget overrun; the work commenced on the agreed upon date and completed within the projected time frame. The Simpsons were an absolute delight to work with as a client. It is really nice/ refreshing to with people that do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. With the added bonus, the project was executed with excellence.
